About this walk
If after a pleasant walk up an uphill track of about 2 miles with brilliant views of the dales while you climb to the top of Appletreewick pasture, you would like to be alone with the person you are with and the scenic views of the dales, then this is a walk for you. On the way back there is a place where you can stop for a well earned cup of tea, before the small uphill climb and then down to Appletreewick, and then to finish off with a lovely stroll by the river side back to the start. If you like to take your dog with you there is no problem at all on this walk.
